Implementation in educational practice (20 units per two modules)

Module 1: Who am I? The pillars of the ego

Sat. 21.09. from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Fri. 27.9. and Fri. 4.10. from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The aim of the first module is to develop competencies for philosophical questions and the framework for philosophical discussions. The participants gain initial experience in moderating philosophical discussions and develop the necessary requirements for practical implementation in their facilities. You will learn techniques to develop philosophical questions. In the first module, the focus is on life issues relating to the self, which are illustrated using the "pillars of the self".

Module 2: What does relationship mean? - Interpersonal

Sat 02.11. from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Fri. 15.11. and Fri. 22.11. from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The second training module focuses on the philosophical attitude and thematically the focus on "relationship" and "interpersonal". In addition, the role of the leader in the philosophical conversation is examined more closely and further developed through an extended conversation. In a practical transfer, the participants can exchange and work on experiences and difficulties together with the seminar leader. Differences between philosophizing and other "forms of conversation" are made clear through exercises and round off the second module.

Module 3: What is Reality? - things and reality

In the third module, the participants get to know new techniques for in-depth inquiries in philosophical discussions. After the philosophical question and attitude (modules 1 and 2), philosophical activities are considered and developed as a method. Reality and the things that surround us and make up the world are the focus of this third module. The second practical transfer represents another important component in module 3.

Module 4: How do we want to live? - Values & responsibility

The focus of the last module is on values ​​and responsibility as well as the final units of the participants. Topics like "What is a value? What is important in life? What does responsibility mean?" are the focus. The prospective interviewers also get to know a more advanced variant of philosophizing. The ceremonial awarding of certificates at the end of the second day concludes this series of training.


Time and place: The courses take place every Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 1st floor and right at the back.).

 

Lessons: 20, two modules.

Cost: 180 euros per module.

Speaker: Uly Paya is a certified adult educator as well as a trained trainer for "philosophizing with children". He passes on his experiences in philosophizing (since 2005) as well as those from his many years of educational activity (since 2001) in the training courses.
